What exactly is CrossFit?
CrossFit is a fitness program that will change your life. By its definition, it uses “constantly varied, functional movement performed at a relative high intensity." As a truly functional program, our daily workouts are designed so that the difficulty level can be increased or decreased, depending upon the individual. This makes them scalable for anyone. Daily workouts may include things such as core conditioning, rowing, sprinting, gymnastics, lifting, etc. All our workouts are designed to improve overall flexibility, strength, speed, endurance, and agility.
What will my first time in at CrossFit Aesthetics be like?
When you walk in the door you will be greeted by one of our enthusiastic team members and then you will be given a facility tour. We will add your information into Wodify, so that you may complete a brief fitness assessment and waiver. Afterwards, you will discuss your goals with an instructor. Finally, we will walk through how to use Wodify to check in to class and view the Workout of the Day (WOD) and how to prepare for class.
Why pay a premium for a CrossFit Aesthetics membership?
Unlike typical gyms, CrossFit Aesthetics provides athletes with customized daily workouts that provide three unique advantages. First, you will receive 1-on-1 attention. As you move through the daily WOD, a coach will be there to motivate you and ensure that you are moving safely through the workout. Second, you will find a community of support. You will be around other athletes that will help motivate you and cheer you on and there is also a bit of friendly competition to push you to the next level. Third, no more boring workouts. Our 1-hour workouts feature a lot of different elements that will keep you from suffering from repetitive workouts. Besides all that, and more importantly, our dedicated team will work with you to help you achieve your goals in a safely and effectively.
What should I bring to class?
We have all the equipment you will need to have an excellent workout. You may want to bring a towel and a water bottle to fill from our Nestle Pure Life water cooler. Check out the Pro-Shop for t-shirts, tanks, shaker bottles and FitAid drinks. Most importantly, bring a positive attitude and be ready for a great workout.
How often do you recommend I come to CrossFit Aesthetics?
If you're just starting up, we recommend coming 3 days a week for your first couple weeks, then build to 4. Once you're up to 4 days a week, we recommend building in 2 recovery days a week.
I’m not in very good shape… can I do CrossFit?
The very first thing you will discover is that CrossFit does not discriminate. Whether you are young at heart, have just completed your 50th marathon, or are recovering from injury, we will help you achieve your fitness goals. One of the things that makes CrossFit so unique is our community of people from every walk of life and in every imaginable size, shape and age. Our workouts are scaled and designed so that everyone can complete them.
What's CrossFit Aesthetics' drop-in policy?
We love having athletes from other boxes visit! Our drop in fee is $25 per day or you can purchase a T-shirt in our Pro-Shop. It'd be great if you'd arrive 15 minutes before scheduled class time so you can sign a waiver and tour our box. If you are an existing Wodify user, you may use your existing credentials at our box.
